LUCY BOAR
ON LOCATION
You can experience how LUCY is rooting her way through life, at the show stable of the pig farmers of Heyde Hoeve. LUCY, however, is determined to see the world herself. She travels in a food truck constructed by artist Koen Vanmechelen, a hot dog stand on wheels. The LUCY DOG tells her story; it is food for the brain and the stomach.
Know what you eat, knowledge is the food of the soul.

LUCY'S VARIETE MATINEE
A private event organised at Heyde Hoeve to present LUCY to the world. Speakers for the symposium include Koen Vanmechelen, Tiny Schepers (Heyde Hoeve), Jorrit Kiewik (Youth Food Movement), Herman van Bekkem (Greenpeace), Petra Remans (Mouth), Ignace Schops (EUROPARK).

OPENING The Beauty of the Beast
We will be serving our LUCY DOG during the (private) opening of the exhibition The Beauty of the Beast at Kasteel d'Ursel, Hingene. The Beauty of the Beast combines artworks from the Antwerp’s Royal Museum of Fine Arts collection of 17th, 18th and 19th century art with contemporary artists including Koen Vanmechelen. Animals like, dogs, cats, chickens, horses, pigs and many more, are the main subject of the expo.
The exhibition will be open to the public from May 25, 2017 until October 15, 2017.

VERS INSPIRATIE PLATFORM
De derde editie van het Vers Inspiratie Platform (VIP) vindt plaats op 27 en 28 maart in de Expo Houten. Er worden weer diverse inspiratiezones, marktkraampjes, terrassen en pleinen ingevuld door de deelnemers. Bij de LUCY-boar is de heerlijke LUCY-dog verkrijgbaar en trekken de bio-diverse varkentjes veel bekijks. Ook is er een speciaal BBQ terras geïntegreerd in de opzet, met een overloop van binnen en buiten. Naast de VIP materclass zullen tijdens VIP 2017 ook nog diverse vak-activiteiten en workshops plaatsvinden. Alle ingrediënten om als versspecialist veel versinspiratie op te doen.
